On 8th November 2025, I had the incredible privilege to speak at the Bunda Creative Conference held at Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources
My presentation, titled “Design the Future: Empowering the Next Generation,” centered on The Power of a Gift, a message reminding young people that every one of us carries a unique creative gift, not just for art, but for impact, leadership, and transformation. 🌍✨
💭 Highlights from my talk:
The future belongs to those who discover, nurture, and use their gifts to solve problems.
📌 You were created to add value to this world through your gift.
📌Creativity is not talent alone, its commitment, curiosity, and courage.
📌Leadership begins when you use your gift to make a difference in others.
📌The fear of the unknown isn’t a barrier, it’s preparation for growth.
📌We are the generation that will design the future through creativity, empathy, and courage.
I also had the great opportunity to share the stage with my fellow creatives Favour Mkombe, Neema Soko and Praise Malunjika, each sharing powerful perspectives on creativity and purpose.
During my session, I shared my journey with InspireX and our impact-driven initiatives that use design, storytelling, innovation, and technology to empower purposeful brands and nurture creative leadership among young people across Africa.
Many thanks to Joshua Chagwa, Director of Publications, for creating such an inspiring platform and for championing creative voices that are shaping Malawi’s future. 🙌🏽 The conference was sponsored by Converged Technology Networks
💡 Final message:
“You can’t design the future you don’t visualize, start where you are, nurture your gift, and let it lead you to purpose.”
